Foi realizada ontem (12) pela Academia de Artes & Ciências Televisivas a cerimônia do Emmy 2022, premiando as produções de TV do último ano.

A Academia divulgou primeiro os vencedores do Creative Arts, focado nas categorias técnicas, como de costume.

Na ocasião, Arcane, série baseada no fênomeno dos videogames, League of Legends foi destaque como Melhor Animação e Chadwick Boseman levou um prêmio póstumo por What If…?

Já na noite de ontem (12), Succession foi um dos destaques, ao vencer a categoria de Melhor Série Dramática.

Mas o destaque da noite foi dividido com Round 6, série sul-coreana que levou três prêmios, incluindo Melhor Direção em Série Dramática e Melhor Ator em Série Dramática.

Lee Jung-jae venceu na categoria de atuação e sua vitória fez história, já que foi a primeira vez que uma série em idioma não inglês foi premiada nessa área.

Indo para as comédias, Ted Lasso venceu a categoria principal e mais duas estatuetas, e também dividiu os momentos de glória com Abbott Elementary, lembrada em quesitos como Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Série de Comédia e Melhor Roteiro em Série de Comédia.

Já o prêmio de Melhor Minissérie ou Antologia ficou com The White Lotus, grande destaque entre as séries limitadas da noite.
