Série Shōgun faz história no Emmy 2024 com 18 prêmios e bate recorde de vitórias

A série Shōgun, drama histórico da FX, alcançou um marco inédito no Emmy 2024 ao levar para casa 18 prêmios, tornando-se a produção de TV mais premiada em uma única temporada na história da premiação. A série, que estreou em fevereiro, conquistou prêmios importantes, incluindo Melhor Série Dramática, Direção, e Ator Principal para Hiroyuki Sanada, além de Melhor Atriz Principal para Anna Sawai.

Entre os prêmios técnicos, Shōgun foi vitorioso em categorias como Cinematografia, Figurinos de Época, Maquiagem Protética e Efeitos Visuais Especiais. Néstor Carbonell também garantiu o prêmio de Melhor Ator Convidado.

Sucesso da série e outros destaques do Emmy 2024

Aclamada tanto pelo público quanto pela crítica, Shōgun se destacou com performances marcantes e um trabalho visual excepcional, sendo definida como “um envolvente conto de poder e legado” por diversas análises.

Além de Shōgun, a série The Bear bateu seu próprio recorde, ganhando o maior número de prêmios de comédia em um único ano, incluindo Melhor Série de Comédia e prêmios de atuação para Jeremy Allen White e Jamie Lee Curtis. Por outro lado, a série Fallout do Prime Video ganhou apenas um prêmio, enquanto Only Murders in the Building saiu sem vitórias, apesar de suas várias indicações.
